Central Parade,
Herne Bay,

The Herne Bay Clock Tower is the most striking piece of architecture in Herne Bay, it was built in 1837 by money donated by Mrs Ann Thwaytes a wealthy widow from London who stayed in the town for a number of years.

Thanks to Lottery funding the Herne Bay Clock Tower has recently been refurbished and an information centre set up nearby to house memorabilia and information about the Herne Bay Clock Tower and it's fascinating history.
