Sharon Byrne presents Gutted.
A funny and poignant black comedy set in 1980's Dublin.
Delores, Breda and Deirdre work in a fish factory and relay the stories of their often mundane lives in the factory staffroom. Through dynamic monologue, pure Irish storytelling and comedy, the women then dramatise the events of a very significant night in their lives.
In Sharon Byrne’s play, each of the women entertain and beguile us through vibrant, interactive monologues, acting out other family members and co-workers, taking us on a fun and poignant journey of self-discovery.
This production has been supported by The Marlowe.
Contains adult themes and language.
